Abaco Yacht Charter

The Abaco Islands are a group of islands and cays that form a 120–mile–long chain stretching over 650 square miles. The coastline is scalloped with bays, coves and protected harbours, ideal as a single destination on your Bahamas yacht charter or as an island-hopping charter if your itinerary includes Grand Bahama or the Berry Islands.

Marsh Habrour on Great Abaco is centrally situated in the island chain and is the ideal launch pad to the string of cays that stretch from Lynyard Cay in the south to Green Turtle Cay in the north.

This cays offer idyllic sailing and fascinating delights and include popular tourist attractions such as Great Guana Cay, Man-O-War Cay, Elbow Cay and Tilloo National Park.

Two airports serve the island with numerous international and domestic flights, just 150 miles from Florida. Being 6 hours sailing time from Nassau, it is preferable to fly to Abaco or adjacent islands and board your charter yacht there.
