Cat Island Yacht Charter

Cat Island is over 100 miles from Nassau so it's best to fly from Nassau to Cat Island to board your yacht.

Alternatively, include Cat Island in an itinerary from Eleuthera. The sailing time from Rock Sound on Eleuthera to Arthur's Town on Cat Island is under 3 hours.

  • The beaches of Cat Island are just as glorious and secluded as the island itself, with an eight-mile stretch of pink-sand beach and numerous others with white sand. You can always find a quiet spot for picnicking, shelling, swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling and kayaking.
  • Exploring the history of Cat Island should include a climb to The Hermitage, carved out of Mount Alvernia, a visit to ruins of Loyalist cotton plantations and caves once used by the Arawaks and African slave villages from the 1700s.
  • Grab a kayak and enjoy the breathtaking sights along a twisting mangrove creek, on the shallow water of a lake, below the crystal-clear ocean as you follow the shoreline.
  • Then again, if you are here to relax and get away from it all, just do nothing.
